Is it safe to plug fan splitters into other fan splitters So take an existing fan out of the fan hub, plug it into a 3way splitter, 2 new fans into the splitter as well and then splitter into the fan hub I was planning to use an itx motherboard for my build, and those dont have many fan headers most of the time, so i was going to buy 2x 4 fan pwn splitter and plug those into each other

I have accidentally bought a 2 two way fan splitter and i have 3 fans i want to connect. With so many different possible places you could connect your fan to, where exactly are you supposed to plug in all your fans to make sure your computer doesn’t overheat If your board has 2 cpu fan headers you may connect each fan to a separate connector If you only have 1 cpu fan connector, you may use the splitter cable to connect two fans to one fan connector.
